Our organisation comprises of almost all academic research organisations in The Netherlands that conduct Energy Research.

The Netherlands has a strong and diverse energy research landscape; NERA brings these strengths together to create critical mass, align strategic priorities, and enhance international visibility. NERA connects the Dutch energy research community across disciplines, institutions, and sectors.
We serve as a platform for dialogue between researchers and as a voice for energy researchers towards policy, industry, and society. We support agenda-setting for energy research and collaborate on joint initiatives. NERA also represents the Dutch energy research community at the national and European levels, ensuring that scientific insight informs policy and innovation programs.
