The NWO institute AMOLF has the mission is to initiate and perform leading fundamental research on the physics of complex forms of matter, and to create new functional materials, in partnership with academia and industry. The goal of AMOLF’s Sustainable Energy Materials theme is to use fundamental insights in (nano)photonics and (nano)materials to efficiently convert sunlight to electricity, chemicals, fuels, light and heat.
